Core facilities<\/strong> are centralized shared research infrastructures of Universities or Research Centers that provide access to tools, technologies, services, consultancy and other scientific activities, for a fee. They are mainly aimed at internal researchers of the relative institutions but are also open to external users thanks to a dedicated booking system and tariff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N.I.C.O. (Network of Italian Core Facilities) is the first Italian Core Facilities network<\/strong>, aimed at creating a National Core Facilities Network, developing scientific and technological synergies, common management practices and promoting participation in research projects and funding initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
