Malpensa airport

Malpensa Airport lies about 50 km from the city centre.. 

The train from Malpensa Airport to the city centre is called Malpensa Express. The direct ride lasts about 30-35 minutes. More information and timetable on Malpensa Expres site. Train tickets can be bought online in advance.

By Malpensa Express (quickest way): express train Malpensa Express from Malpensa Airport to Cadorna Railway Station; from there, underground M1 – red line (3 stops – direction Sesto) to Duomo. From Duomo to the UNIMI meeting venue it is a 10 minutes’ walk (± 600 m). 

Second Option: Malpensa Shuttle. Bus from the airport to the Railway Station – Centrale FS. Then M3 yellow line (3 stops direction S. Donato) to Missori. From Missori to the UNIMI meeting venue it is a 5 minutes’ walk (400 m).

Taxis from Malpensa Airport (unadvisable option) to the city centre cost about € 100 and take approx. 60/70 minutes (traffic jams on rush hours not taken into account).

Linate airport

Linate Airport lies about 10 km from Milan city centre.

From Linate Airport there is bus 73 which takes approx. 35 minutes to get to the city centre (San Babila, last stop). From San Babila to the meeting venue it is a 10 minutes’ walk (±800 mt). 

Taxis from Linate Airport to the city centre cost about € 20/30 and take approx. 20/30 minutes (traffic jams on rush hours not taken into account). 

Orio al Serio Airport

Orio al Serio Airport lies about 55 km from Milan city centre. 

There is a direct bus (Orioshuttle or Terravision or others) from Orio al Serio Airport to the Railway Station – Centrale FS. Then M3 yellow line (3 stops direction S. Donato) to Missori. From Missori to the UNIMI meeting venue it is a 5 minutes’ walk (400 m).The bus ride lasts about 1 hour (traffic jams on rush hours not taken into account).
